We'll leave after ELEVATE on Friday night & head over to the Payson area and sleep in a local church.  We'll get up Saturday morning, eat breakfast & head out to the canyon. We should be back in Prescott by 8-9 Saturday night.

THE DETAILS:

• September 9-10

• a 4 mile (round trip) hike thru the desert to reach the canyon

• the canyon requires boulder hopping/scrambling, swimming, & short rappel or cliff jump

• it will take us most of the day saturday

WHAT YOU'LL NEEED:

• sleeping bag or a way to sleep comfortably Friday night

• clothes & shoes you can get wet in

• breakfast & a lunch in a dry bag to eat in the canyon Saturday

• plenty of water

• a great attitude

• $15 for gas & adventure insurance

• cash for fast food on the way home
