{Desert Oasis with Friends, Waterfalls, Limestone Cliffs}
Fossil Creek is a beautiful spring gushing through Arizona’s scenic desert - it’s a gem worth exploring, especially with new friends. We will hike to a couple waterfalls, jump in the water, and splash around for the day before heading back to campus.
We'll leave Labor Day morning (9.4), hop in cars, & drive about 1.5hrs to the spot. The first falls are a short walk, and the next ones are a 1.5mi hike.
THE DETAILS:
Leaving at 9am from Haas parking lot!
a 2.6 mile (out-and-back) hike thru a desert oasis to get to the 2nd falls, a quick walk to the 1st falls
Swimming, hiking, and chilling by the water
it will be HOT - bring plenty of water and sunscreen
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
plenty of sunscreen & water
a swimsuit that you’re comfortable hiking in
lunch/snacks for the day
